Find My Next Step

“My Hope family has embraced and loved my broken, sinful self and walked alongside me every step of the way. I have completely fallen in love with Jesus! They have fed my hungry heart for Christ.” -Chablis M.

In an ever changing world where uncertainty, pain and questions face us daily, we want you to know, there is Hope. Hope can’t happen alone. It can only be experienced in community with others.  Together we are seeking to love God, love others, and love life and become a community that is centered on Christ, our ultimate hope.

We are growing into Christ-centered community with these 3 tools:

  • Steps:  stepping stones to get you started
  • Groups:  to provide community and growth
  • Classes:  to provide environments for learning

The Next Steps below are some steps planned to help you in your spiritual growth and a way for you to get started into community.  Each of the next steps listed below is meant to help you move along on your journey.  To find groups or classes, look on our Spiritual Growth page.

  • If you are interested in finding out more about baptism or if you have decided that you are ready to follow Jesus in baptism, this step is for you.

I Want to Belong (Membership)

  • If you are ready to make Hope your church family, this step is for you.  In this step, you will learn what it means to be a follower of Christ and discover the 5 ways Jesus said His followers would be recognized and how to begin those practices for yourself.

I Want to Serve (Spiritual Gifts)

  • This step will help you find your fit serving at Hope or in the Springfield community.  As Christ-followers, we all have gifts that allow us to bless others. In this experiential class you will discover more about your own spiritual gifts, passions and temperament and where you can use them to bless others.

I Want to Learn How to Give (Stewardship)

  • This step is for those who are seeking to give their finances in a God-honoring way. It’s also hugely helpful for those who are seeking to honor God through balanced financial living.

Find out what makes Hope unique and meet some of the folks that call Hope home. Next I'm new lunch - January 8, 2017 @ noon. Let us know you're coming so we can have enough food.

  • Step 2 - Ready to follow Christ in Baptism?

Baptism classes for adults will be offered regularly.  Contact Beth Yokley for information about upcoming baptism classes.  The next baptism class will be on January 15, 2017 during both the 9 service & 10:45 service.  Register
